What i'm loving Wednesday :)

Today is Wednesday and there are so many things I am loving!! :)


1. First off I am loving my amazingly supportive family who is coming down to Fayetteville this weekend!! Words cant describe how excited  I am that they are coming to visit/help Robert and I move in!! I am so lucky to have such a great AMAZING family! :)) Because they live so far away (in San Antonio) they have only been able to come up twice in the past four years i've been up here at school.  Because they have been up here so little, I have so many places I want to take them!! Hammontrees, Peguin Ed's, Common Grounds, Bliss Cupcakes, Ricks Bakery, Osegueras (who has the most amazing MARGARITAS by the way :) and the list goes on and on!! I only wish I had more time to show them around our town!! :)

2.  Although they are part of my family, I am so LOVING my little sisters :) Ashley is set to graduate from high school in 38 days!! Ahh scary!! And little Miss Megan just got her first JOB and her first CAR!! They are growing up so fast!! (tear)

3. As I am moving out of the house soon and slowly things are becoming more real, THAT I WILL NEVER LIVE IN DORM/SORORITY LIFE AGAIN..it gets me all choked up! For the past two years I have lived with such amazing women. We have laughed together, fought with one another, cried in each others arms, and eaten together for the past two years. I spend each and every night with an amazing group of women, just talking chatting, watching movies and talking about our day. I cant imagine my life without my roommate Taylor and my neighbors Kaitlyn, Alexandra, and Jordan. There's not a day that goes by that we don't talk, and I really hope that we can maintain our friendships as the years go by and we all move out of the house!  LOVE THEM :) 

4. I am sooo LOVING my new side table/wine rack that I got from an antique shop just the other day!! Cant wait to show you pics when its all set up in the new apartment!! :) Here's a little pic now of it in the storage unit! :) 

I put a set of blocks on top of it so I could remember about how wide it is :) 

5. I am so loving these new pics I got of Chloe!! (Some are from her and her brother when they were born, but I just uploaded these pictures!) They are adorable and I am so glad to have them!

8. And ending on eight (because even numbers are the best..lol) I couldn't forget my best friend in the whole world, not to mention my rock and faithful confidant, my boyfriend Robert! He is my everything. He makes me laugh more than anyone, he makes me think, and makes me smile. He is my rock. We are always so happy and laughing together, it really is so easy with him :)  He is my better half to say the least. Im definitely a lucky girl! 

Thats about it for what i'm LOVING Wednesday! My thoughts go out to all of those hit by the bad storms and tornadoes heading East! One of Alabama's main streets (equivalent to our college or 6th street) was completely wiped out by a tornado today. Please give them your thoughts and prayers!

Weekend Wrap Up.

FIRST: Its almost the end of April! And that means its almost time for Roberto and I to move in and its almost time to pick up our puppy Chloe!! Ahhh!! 

Our Wonderful Exciting and Fabulous Countdowns are as follows:

- Days til MOVE IN: 4 days

- Days til we PICK UP CHLOE: 12 days

- Days til SUMMER VACATION: 18 days

- Days til my sister Ashley's HS Graduation: 41 days

- Days til Big Brother Season 13 begins: 73 days

- Days til Ashley's London Graduation Trip: 98 days

So back to our weekend wrap up..

I would love to say it was a bright and sunny fabulous weekend..but it rained ALL WEEKEND LONG..

and not only did it rain ALL WEEKEND LONG, BUT on the drive home i thought we might need to start paddling the car down the road/river on our way to Fayetteville! 

But all in all I had a wonderful weekend with Robert on our visit with my Nana. 

Its always a fun time visiting with my Nana! She is a whoot :) So glad we got to visit her for Easter weekend :) 

Hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter weekend as well!! 

On other exciting news..

ROBERT AND I GOT OUR FIRST KITCHEN TABLE!! :)

We got it for a great deal at Hobby Lobby and are planning to add cute leather seat cushions when we get it all put together! And can you believe that this little DIY project was Robert's idea?!?! Yeah! Isn't he cute? Im a lucky girl having such a helpful guy in my life :) 

And SPEAKING OF LUCKY!! My family is coming to Fayetteville this weekend to bring my stuff for the apartment!! Unfortunately they wont be leaving until Saturday morning and are leaving first thing Sunday morning, so its a very very short trip, but any time I get to see my family is AMAZINGG!! 

I cant even express to you how excited I am to see my family this weekend, to see Robert again, to move into our apartment, and to decorate our new home! Ahhh my heart just smiles :) 

Oh yes and cant forget..the royal wedding is this week! So the girls and I are going to move some things into my new apartment and then heading to my good friend Kaitlyn's house to have a fun girls night/slumber party and watch Prince William marry Kate Middleton!! How exciting!! :)

We're gonna have a baby!! A furbaby that is..duh!! :)

Yes you heard me correctly..Robert and I are gonna be a new mommy and daddy to a cute little baby girl CHIHUAHUA!! :) If you know us well, we already talk about her constantly and cant wait to bring her home and welcome her into our lives, so to say we are a little excited is quite the understatement!! :) 

Robert and I have wanted to welcome an animal into our lives for quite some time now, but with Robert living in the fraternity house and me living in the sorority house it was never the best time to get a pet. But now that we are finally moving out on our own, we can finally get our little baby girl we have been dreaming about for so long. 

We knew from the beginning that we wanted a dog, because Robert says he has always been more of a dog person, but what type of dog was always the question.. 

At my parents house we have a boxer named Brooklyn and seeing how much she eats and wears down doors with her claws, etc..We thought maybe starting out with a smaller dog may be best thing for us right now. As college students getting a dog is a big responsibility and finding a job, money, whatever can be tough, so getting a big dog that could possibly eat us out of house and home was a scary thought. Needless to say after much convincing Robert agreed to think about getting a small chihuahua. We looked and looked and looked, and one day I came across a breeder in Killeen, Texas and in the middle of the page was this..

Kind of a bad cell phone picture, but you get the idea! :) 

Needless to say Robert and I fell in love! She was exactly what we were looking for, and was just the right age! Best part is, she could be taken home shortly after we move in! It was perfect!! We spoke to the breeder and researched a lot before we made our decision and finally we decided we were ready to put a deposit down on our little Chloe!! 

She will be the perfect size and the perfect addition to our new home!! We could not be happier!! :) 

We are purchasing her from a wonderful breeder, who is so kind and helpful. She even sends us updates and pictures every week and a half on how Chloe is doing and how big she is getting!  Right now Chloe is about 4 and 1/2 weeks old and is starting to eat real puppy food! 

Its only a few more weeks until we go pick our little lady up on the first weekend in May and we cant wait!! Here are some of the pictures our breeder has sent us so far of Chloe and how big she is getting! Only a few more days until we get some more pictures of her! :) 

Robert's favorite part is her little brown eyebrows..lol.

Lots of exciting news :)

Its been way too long since I have updated our little bloggie blog about our lives! So much has happened and its about time I share it :) 


Since I last blogged about our terrible snow drama in February, we have picked out our apartment and found our adorable baby Chloe!! (a beautiful 4 and a 1/2 week old, black and white long haired chihuahua)!! I will just show you a sneak peek of our apartment for now, and tomorrow I will add pics of our beautiful baby girl! :) 


So without further ado here are some pictures of what our apartment will look like..(well sort of..this is the fancy shmancy pics of the show room anyway!) 

  Here is our complex :) Our little apartment is directly behind the pool, which will be absolutely beautiful to look at during those cool summer nights! :) We cant wait! :) 

Here is the view walking into the apartment! Our apartment is flipped in relation to this one! So you will walk in and turn left to head to the living room and kitchen instead! 

The living room of course..We will have our own BALCONY!!! AHHH!! (Going from a sorority house with half a room to a whole apartment with a balcony is AMAZINGG!!! :)) 

Our HUGE WALK IN CLOSET!! Thats definitely a step up from sorority/fraternity living!! 

Guest bathroom (with huge garden tub!) and SECOND WALK IN CLOSET connected to the guest bedroom/study! 

And last but not least...OUR KITCHEN :) MMM I cant wait to have a kitchen and cook whatever we want!! 


So this will be our new home at the end of April and we are over the moon excited!! :) My family will be coming all the way from San Antonio the last weekend of April to help Robert and I move into our new home and hopefully Robert's mother will be able to come and help as well! Ahh its getting real!! 13 days til move in day and 20 days til we pick up our baby Chloe!! Cant wait to show you pictures of our little girl tomorrow!! Stay tuned!! :)

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas??

Well its snowing here in Arkansas!! For the past week that is!! It has snowed so much that the University of Arkansas cancelled classes almost all week! Yay for snow!!

With all the free time I have had this week, I thought why not start a blog about all the things that go in this crazy life of mine! And of course their will be lots to share about my darling better half and his journey into the working world!
